Amanda’s mom and sister were in town (from Georgia) this past weekend. We didn’t do too much because New York City was having a heatwave. OMG it was hot! Sunday, we walked to prospect park, and we almost passed out. Took the train home instead walking back. It was also Dylan’s first time taking our subway system. On Monday evening, we did stopped by DUMBO for some Grimaldi’s pizza and to check out the NYC Waterfalls.

We went on our first family getaway for the 4th of July weekend to Washington D.C. It was a great trip. We even took our dog Meko with us. Dylan had an awesome time. And for the most part it wasn’t too bad travelling with him at all. Here are some shots I took. Didn’t get to see too much stuff. For sure we will be visit there again.
