 I can not remember the last time I went to Coney Island beach or even the amusement park in Brooklyn.  During my 11 years living in Chinatown, I used to go to Coney Island all the time for the beach, for the Hotdogs, ice-skating during the winter season and of course the rides, like the wonder wheel and the Cyclone.  Those were the good old days.  Then when I moved to Brooklyn, everything seem to just stop.  Maybe because I was in college.. hahaha!   Now that I am here in Brooklyn for 23 plus years and still counting.  I cant really remember the last time I went to Coney Island.  

Two weeks ago, my wife Amanda suggested that we head to Coney Island.   Wow!   what good time I had. Thanks for the awesome idea.   As much as I dislike the  sand.  I had a wonderful time.  So much has changed since.   But the tradition of Coney Island is still the same.   Here are some pics I took with my iphone4.   Good Time for sure.  I can’t wait to go back again.

Over the weekend, I had the honor to photograph an awesome couple, Christine & Jimmy who will be getting married next year. It was everyone’s first time at the Gantry Plaza State Park located in Long Island City of Queens New York. The place was beautiful with the Midtown Manhattan landscape as your backdrop. Unfortunately we ran into a little situation due to a state regulation. But we still manage to have lots of the fun and rock the session. I also like to thank my good friend, an awesome photographer William Eng for coming down and helping me out with the Off Camera Flash.

What can I say about this couple! A match made in heaven. Amanda and I spend the Friday afternoon and evening without our son and drove up to Connecticut to meet up with Lisa and Jon for their E-Session. I’ve known Lisa for almost 10 years now…. but it was Amanda first. We had an awesome time chatting, walking around town, taking pictures of them. We also had dinner and stopped by one of their favorite bar. All I can say about this couple is “They ROCK!!!!” We can’t wait to photograph your wedding on 4th of July. YAY!!!

I was recently informed that Lisa and Jon are now officially engaged. WOOHOO!!! Congrats to you both!!! I am so excite and happy for you. I always knew Jon was the one for her. Lisa and I go way back from MJI days (aka Clear Channel Communication). We briefly talked about her photography needs. Looks like I will be photographing her wedding as long as scheduling works out for me. Because they are currently living in Florida, she wants me to fly down and do the e-session there with the beautiful sunset background. Guess I will be taking my family with me as a mini vacation too. Wedding will be held somewhere in Connecticut.
