Hollywood Studios | Disney World

After three days straight of fun at Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom. We were not ready to stop.  Day 4 and Day 6, we headed to Hollywood Studios.  Yes, we did rest on Day 5.

We got to meet characters like Buzz Lightyear,  Woody and Mr Pototohead from Toy Story,  Mike Wazowski from Monster Inc and Mr. Incredible from The Incredible and many others.  Good times!   We even got to watch a  small film about the story of Walt Disney, how everything started.  It is just amazing how his dream comes to reality for the world to enjoy.

Oh, my father in law and I were recruited to be in the show during the Studio Backlot Tour.  HAHA! (Below Picture # 5)  Notice the rain gear?!  yes we got freaking wet.  It was awesome.  Good Time!!!

Fastpass RULE!!!   Disney World Magic Guide iPhone/iPad Apps RULE too.

Here’s some images from Hollywood Studios.

More to come…

After a fun and exciting first day at Animal Kingdom.  Our second and third day were at the Magic Kingdom.   This is where fairy tale comes to life.  We had a reservation to meet the characters, Winnie the Pooh and company, for lunch at The Crystal Palace.    (credits goes to Amanda for doing all these arrangements).  Just like day one at Animal Kingdom, the food were awesome… And so was a tall glass of ice cold water with full air conditioner. Yes it was HOT that day.

Mickey Mouse, Goofy, Cinderella, and many other more we got to meet.   It was so great watching Dylan interacting with them.  It was priceless.

Here are some pics….

Disney World | Orlando Florida

Who goes to Florida in July?? Me, that’s who.

So two weeks ago, we (The Lo Family) took a 7 days 6 nights trip to Disney World in Orlando Florida.   We also invited my in laws to join us since they live 9 hours away.  Since they don’t get to see their grandson much. We thought this would be an excellent idea.

We didn’t stay at the Disney Resort, but we did stayed at a very comfortable resort just 25 miles west from Disney which we have banked into RCI. (yes we owned a studio at a resort that we purchased years ago when we were vacationing at Mexico).

We purchased 5 days pass to the theme park.  First day (Sunday) was at  Animal Kingdom.  Amanda made a breakfast reservation at the Tusker House Restaurant months in advance so that we can meet the Disney characters without having to deal with the heat or waiting on lines.  It was so worth it.   You get to eat some awesome food (all you can eat baby) and some cold air condition.  The characters would come around to say hi, sign your autograph book and pose for pics.   Did I mention the food were pretty good?!!   Animal Kingdom is like the Bronx Zoo but 100 times better.  Took a ride into the safari seeing elephants were pretty amazing.

The Tree of Life!!!

Coney Island Brooklyn

I can not remember the last time I went to Coney Island beach or even the amusement park in Brooklyn.  During my 11 years living in Chinatown, I used to go to Coney Island all the time for the beach, for the Hotdogs, ice-skating during the winter season and of course the rides, like the wonder wheel and the Cyclone.  Those were the good old days.  Then when I moved to Brooklyn, everything seem to just stop.  Maybe because I was in college.. hahaha!   Now that I am here in Brooklyn for 23 plus years and still counting.  I cant really remember the last time I went to Coney Island.

Two weeks ago, my wife Amanda suggested that we head to Coney Island.   Wow!   what good time I had. Thanks for the awesome idea.   As much as I dislike the  sand.  I had a wonderful time.  So much has changed since.   But the tradition of Coney Island is still the same.   Here are some pics I took with my iphone4.   Good Time for sure.  I can’t wait to go back again.

hmmm, engagement session at Coney Island sounds like a fun idea….

Attention Bride/Groom:   I would LOVE to do an engagement session at Coney Island with you.   Contact me for details.

Shirley and Thomas | Mudan Banquet Wedding | Queens Crossing Flushing

I know, its been awhile since I updated my blog.   I’ve been busy with lots of new and exciting fun things going on.   Hopefully this blog post will satisfied you for the lost time.

I don’t often run into friends at weddings, especially not a wedding that I am hired to shoot.  But to run into three friends is almost unheard of.  It is always great to see old friends, especially when there’s a long childhood history & stories to go with it.  Harry, it was great seeing you and meeting your kids. At least this time we didn’t run into each other at Babies R Us buying diapers.  Scott and Jennifer – Awesome to know you guys are a couple, and great to see you Scott, its been super LONG time.

Shirley and Thomas Wedding
Reception: Mudan Banque Hall @ Queens Crossing in Flushing, New York.

A perfect day for a perfect couple.   The temperature was a little on the chilly side.  But we still manage to get some amazing shots.  Here’s a few images on their day.   Oh, check out their wedding cake made by the JennyTyler Lee @ Cupcakes in Heels.   Pretty awesome!!

I also posted a few more on my Facebook Fan Page. Come check it out.

Finally I got to meet the great Jina Yoon, the Make-up & Hair artist from JAC Beauty.  She’s awesome.  Just ask any brides she worked with.   And of course, as always, my good buddy William Eng who invited me to help him. Thanks Dude, can’t wait until the next time we’ll shoot again.
