Mon, 31 Oct 2011 13:21:53 +0000 en hourly 1 http://wordpress.org/?v=3.3.1 Coney Island Brooklyn http://www.johnlophotography.com/blog/2011/06/coney-island-brooklyn/ http://www.johnlophotography.com/blog/2011/06/coney-island-brooklyn/#comments Tue, 07 Jun 2011 16:58:32 +0000 johnlo http://www.john-lo.com/?p=1858  I can not remember the last time I went to Coney Island beach or even the amusement park in Brooklyn.  During my 11 years living in Chinatown, I used to go to Coney Island all the time for the beach, for the Hotdogs, ice-skating during the winter season and of course the rides, like the wonder wheel and the Cyclone.  Those were the good old days.  Then when I moved to Brooklyn, everything seem to just stop.  Maybe because I was in college.. hahaha!   Now that I am here in Brooklyn for 23 plus years and still counting.  I cant really remember the last time I went to Coney Island.  

Two weeks ago, my wife Amanda suggested that we head to Coney Island.   Wow!   what good time I had. Thanks for the awesome idea.   As much as I dislike the  sand.  I had a wonderful time.  So much has changed since.   But the tradition of Coney Island is still the same.   Here are some pics I took with my iphone4.   Good Time for sure.  I can’t wait to go back again.

It was everyone’s first time at the Gantry Plaza State Park located in Long Island City of Queens New York. The place was beautiful with the Midtown Manhattan landscape as your backdrop. Unfortunately we ran into a little situation due to a state regulation. But we still manage to have lots of the fun and rock the session. I also like to thank my good friend, an awesome photographer William Eng for coming down and helping me out with the Off Camera Flash.
