Here’s a post we can all look forward to arriving after a few snow fall from last night.
Another day with the family enjoying what the city has for us. Its that time of the year, so we decided to head over to the Brooklyn Botanic Garden to check out the Cherry Blossom. We were a little too early, so a lot of the tree weren’t ready yet. But we still managed to see a lot of amazing stuff. Here’s some pictures for you to check out.
It’s always great to visit the Zoo once in a while. Too bad I don’t go as much as I would like to, considering Amanda is a member of the Wildlife Conservation Society. Maybe I will now that we live just a walk away from Prospect Park Zoo.
April 2009, we took Dylan on his first trip to the Bronx Zoo. We had an awesome time. It was a little cold that day, so we didn’t get to do as much as we would like too. I did get to snap a few shots. Hope you will enjoy them as much as Dylan has.
For the next few days, I’m gonna be posting some pictures from last year that I never got to show you. Actually my wife didn’t even get to see them yet. heheh! So right now, I am processing them. I guess it’s better late then never huh!? hahaha!
If you were following me on Twitter and Facebook last summer, you would remember that I drove my family to Georgia so she and Dylan can spend the month of July with her family while the hubby (me) was back in New York working, paying the bills. You would think I would have all the time in the world to hang out with my friends. Well not really…. cuz my car was in Georgia. Delta was nice enough to take me home, of course I had to drop a few bills for it..
I headed back to GA first week of August, but I didnt want my vacation to be just driving up and down. Instead of driving on I-85 and I-95 back home. We decided to take a different route and do some sightseeing.
Driving up and down Shenandoah National Park was totally an amazing experience. We even got to see a black bear off the road. Too bad I only had the 16-35L with me, so i wasn’t able to snap a shot . We did get to visit some amazing places while in Shenandoah. Places like Shenandoah Caverns; American Celebration on Parade; The Yellow Barn and the Virginia Safari Park which is located in Natural Bridge, Virginia. The Safari park was a HUGE hit, especially for Dylan. He really enjoyed it.
Enough reading, time to see some images from the trip…. please be patient if the images is still loading on your system. There are 40 images total.
Since my Philly Engagement Session were canceled last Saturday. We decided to do some apple picking in Rockland County with the rest of my friends. I just posted a blog at JKLIMAGERY.com.
It’s so great to spend the time with the family away from the city you live and work at everyday. As I mentioned in my previous post last week, its my wife first time visiting the town and since I haven’t been there over 10 yrs, everything is new to me. We had an awesome time just to see the city and its history. The city is so much cleaner comparing to New York City. hahaha!
Just to be clear, the t-shirt my son is wearing is NOT (i repeat), is NOT a Boston Red Sox T-shirt… it’s a concert T-shirt of Phish, who recently perform in Fenway Park. Thanks Jill & Ryan for the T-shirt.
Please check out the photo slideshow I’ve put together…. and you get to see Dylan’s 1st time on a Merry Go Round. hehehe. Thanks!!
7 years ago around this time, I was driving a friend out into the city to her job because she was late getting up and needed to be in the office by 8:30am for an important meeting. At that time, I just got laid off from Clear Channel Communication, so my schedule are FREE. I decide what the hell, I got nothing better to do anyway. I normally do not take the Tunnel out into the city, because of the $3.50 fee. But because we were running late, she told me to take it and will pay me back, plus the drop off spot was downtown area. So make sense to do that.
I remember traffic were pretty back up. and once we came out of the tunnel I happened to look up and said “oh world trade center is on fire”. I didn’t think much of it at that time… but once the 2nd plane hit the second tower, I knew at that point New York was under attack. I am not going to get into details anymore, but I will always remember what happen that day. Many of my friends do work in those buildings or in that area. Just so happen that Tuesday, they all decided either to take the day off, or they were running late into work.
1) I will fix the images that’s missing on last year’s post tonight. I moved to a new webhosting server recently.. forgot to add some of the imgs folders back in.
Its been ten years since I visited Boston. So many things have changed since. But one thing haven’t change is the history, the historical landmarks.. and of course the FOOD.
This past Labor Day weekend, we decided to head up to Boston. It was Amanda first visit and of course Dylan too. We had a great time. The weather was just perfect. Great City, Great Clam Chowder, Great Blue Points Oysters, Tasty beer and yummy lobster. We even got to visit Amanda’s old friend and her family who live just outside of Boston. Good Time!!!!!
Here’s some pics I like to share.. Will have some more later this week. maybe a slideshow or something. heheh! Enjoy it!!!
